Welcome to Club de Design (or CDD for short)! We are a group of friends who love design, branding, and art. CDD does two things: we are a fun community sharing the daily life of that mysterious creature called "The Designer," and we are a real design studio based in Yangon and Bangkok. We make awesome logos, branding, and graphics for our clients.

My job was to create a brand identity that shows both sides of CDD: a super-cool design club and a professional studio.

The Challenge

Designing a brand for a bunch of designers is super hard! Most design agency websites look too serious, cold, and boring. We wanted to break that rule. Our look needed to show clients that we are great at our jobs, but still keep things fun, friendly, and full of art.

I chose a style using clean shapes and simple layouts. This leaves plenty of room for our big personality and beautiful artwork to stand out.

  • The Logo Concept: The primary logo mark is a clever combination of the letters C and D that come together to form the shape of an eye. This isn't a spooky or devil eye! Instead, it represents the "all-seeing designer eye" that special skill designers have for spotting great layout, perfect details, and beautiful art all around us.

  • Typography: No boring fonts here! I picked a modern font system to bring more personality and recognizability to our brand. The letters look clean and sharp, whether we are showing a serious business presentation or just sharing our funny opinions about design.

  • Color Palette & Vibe: I used a vibrant, modern primary color palette of blue, yellow, and red. This bold combination is designed to showcase our love for pop culture, giving the brand a high-energy, artistic, and playful vibe.
