A.Pitsillides
Apitsillides came to me for a brand refresh to modernize their visual presence. Because the original pictorial mark already had strong recognition and value, the goal was to keep the existing pictorial mark exactly as it was, while completely updating the surrounding brand elements to give the company a fresh, contemporary feel.
The Challenge
When a brand has a recognizable pictorial mark that they want to keep, a refresh requires a careful balance. The challenge was to respect the history of the original mark while building a completely new, modern visual world around it so the brand wouldn't feel outdated in today's market.

The Design Solution
By keeping the core pictorial mark intact, the focus shifted to developing a powerful typographic system and supporting brand assets that blend seamlessly with it.
New Typography: I introduced a clean, modern typographic system that pairs beautifully with the original pictorial mark. These new fonts bring more personality and recognizability to the brand, offering a polished, professional look across both digital and print layouts.
Brand Elements: To elevate the brand identity, I developed a fresh set of visual elements, including updated color treatments, clean patterns, and a refined layout system. These design choices give the brand a cohesive and premium feel.
Visual Language: The new identity creates a clear structure for marketing materials, stationery, and digital platforms, making sure every touchpoint feels modern and unified.

The Result
The final look successfully breathes new life into Apitsillides. By introducing modern typography and a dynamic system of brand elements, the identity feels completely updated and ready for the future, while fully honoring the original pictorial mark that clients already know and trust.
